The moment the SMBX Summer 2025 Direct finishes streaming, the SMBX Asset Library will FINALLY be opened to the public!
The Asset Library sports a flashy SMW-themed design and an extensive archive of legacy assets, and aims to provide the SMBX community with a seamless, easy-to-use method of storing, searching and sharing assets for their own projects.
From Levels and Episodes to Graphics and Sound Effects, the SMBX Asset Library has an advanced categorising and tagging system that allows users to upload and search for anything down to the tiniest criteria!
Hey, I’m Loopdeeswoop, liam_nayru on Discord,
I’m the developer of the SMBX Asset Library and the host and creator of the SMBX Direct. I wanted to throw in a personal message here and say how incredibly humbled I am to have been put in the position of direct collaboration with the SMBX staff and community to bring you something I’ve worked so, SO hard on.
Both the Direct and the Asset Library started off as projects I was simply working on for fun – but thanks to the incredible support from this wonderful community, MY website, and MY Direct, are being featured on the very website I designed them for, and I’m a proud member of the SMBX staff team. I couldn’t be prouder of how far I’ve come, nor could I be more thankful to those who’ve helped me get there, including the other members of the website team who have worked tirelessly to help me finally finish this project.
I know it’s taken a long time to get here, so I thank you all for your patience and sincerely hope you enjoy the final release of this website, and the Summer 2025 Direct.
